Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School for 2015 was G-Force.  "In God we live, move, and exist." (Acts 17:28a CEB)
Through our stories we learned how to MOVE-ACT-CARE-FOLLOW-Share the Good News of Jesus:
  • We learned how Moses was on the MOVE for God when he led the Israelites out of Egypt.
  • We learned how Solomon was ACTing for God when he built the temple in Jerusalem.
  • We learned how four friends showed they CAREd for their friend who was paralyzed.
  • We learned how Bartimeaus decided to FOLLOW God when Jesus restored his sight.
  • We learned how to SHARE the Good News through the story of the women at the tomb on Easter morning.
We had a great time of fellowship while we enjoyed a snack supper.  We then went to Assembly where we got clues about the story.  We watched God work through Science experiments.  Learned about Jesus through Music and Crafts.  We enjoyed a time of recreation.  Met back at the Sanctuary for Closing Assembly.  Our Mission for VBS was to support the Jeremiah 29:11 project as we brought in baby supplies and our spare change to donate to the Hope Resource Center and Choices Center as they support young women who chose to keep their babies in spite of financial hardship.
We are already thinking and preparing for VBS 2016.  The Theme will be SURF SHACK.  "Remember that the Lord is Great and Awesome!"  Nehemiah 4:14b.
Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun?  It will be sometime next July.  Keep checking here for more information.  We look forward to seeing you then.  Surfs Up!
